great workout tutorial but what is the deal with the rope you are using? It
looks like it retains a lot of memory, thus all the twists.

This rope is too long for her. The rope itself is out of shape. If the rope
stored in an extended fashion, for example by hanging from the middle, the
curls will straighten out and prevent kinking and tripping. With an
unkinked rope, the rope can be easily be trimmed to the correct length,
enhancing the exercise experience.
Her stroke will be more effective w/ arms held close to the torso with the
wrists doing the majority of the rotation. These are just my observations
based upon my own learning experience. Stay Fit. – BullseyeElectric

That shit is hard for a beginner. I warmed up and still heard something pop
in my right arch. Mother fucker!

Not the way jump rope should be taught. After searching for intermediate
level rope exercises I came across this video. While I respect Rebecca
Louise’s fitness aims, her form is improper and this is training people in
a completely incorrect manner (which can lead to shoulder pain). Watch a
Sarah Solomon video for proper form and good, standard exercises. Also,
RAGE fitness has a bunch of introductory videos.

I’m sorry but this is hilarious!

People are saying that she is a horrible jumper. But the lesson here is to
burn fat. If you know how to jump rope then that is really all that
matters. Even if the person in the video is not doing so well as a jumper.
Take the technique and use it to your advantage. Maybe she is a beginner.
One thing for sure is that her body is in shape. So she is obviously doing
something right. Also she was not messing up on her jumps. The rope went
successfully under her feet.

Jump rope first thing in the morning before breakfast and try to hold as
long as you can,and do this EVERY MORNING and youll see results! Your body
will adapt himself to allow you to make this exercise easier so you burn
fat,but you have to be consistent and try to beat your record every morning
;)

As someone already mentioned terrible skipping form. Appreciate that the
message is fat burning and your vids are great, but teaching a beginner to
jump like that is going to fatigue them fast where efficient form with the
rope will make if fun & ongoing. This from a proficient jump roper.

you only skip like that if you are an 8 year old..
and here u are training others???
Fuck give up already and go back to playschool..!

If you desire to lose weight, you should look up on google Fat Blast
Furnace.

Your video is amazing and you have totally given me something new to look
forward to in my normal jump rope routine. But your form isn’t correct,
Rebecca. While skipping, arms are closer to the body and stiff. Only the
wrists are supposed to move and you are supposed to hold your tummy in and
be rigid. Nevertheless, going to do your video now. You gave me something
fresh for the mind :)

Good, solid advice except for the part about converting fat to muscle, if
only we could lol :)!
February 24th, 2015 at 8:33 pm
Ok, you release extra fat and then build muscle. “Converting fat into
muscle” is a generic phrase used.

I discovered your channel today and I’m loving it! I did the 80/10/10 diet
for about 6 months in the past, but I eventually fell of the wagon. Now I’m
living in Israel and here there are tons of amazing high quality fruit. I’m
trying to get on the bandwagon and make it work this time. You’re
beautiful, thanks for your videos and keep up the good work!

Great advice – thanks for the fitness tips!
February 24th, 2015 at 11:01 pm
Thanks for the nice comments and all the best!

When a person uses the phrase ‘converting fat into muscle’ it’s not meant
literally, as though fat cells are transformed into muscle cells, it’s
merely a legacy phrase, from a time when humans didn’t know any better,
which now means to rebalance proportions of muscle and fat.
