Thank you for this video. I’m finishing up my first fast day. It’s been way
easier than I thought it would be. I have a long way to go, need to lose
24kg/52lbs, but this was inspiring. :)

I just came to know about this 5:2 diet and I was looking for review. You
have inspired me to follow this diet as I can totally relate to you. I have
been on high protein low cal diets but it never lasted more than 2 months (
can’t sacrifice my fav food forever). I am size 10/12 and with low carb
diet and weight training I reached size 8, my goal is to be size 6/4, seems
like it will be true soon :))

Dr Mosley is a legend!
If you haven’t seen the BBC documentary on HIT exercise it is worth digging
out (Horizon) – also with Dr Mosley – awesome science!

If Americans did this diet, maybe we all wouldn’t be referred to as the
overweight and lazy country. Everyone should try this!

I think you are honest and awesome, thanks for sharing as I need to lose
weight, I truly don’t eat a lot of rubbish but struggle as I cannot
exercise much any more as I get a lot of pain in my knees, right shoulder
and both legs from osteoarthritis but get really depressed as I want to
lose weight so I should try this :)

Thank you for uploading this video, you are SO lovely and down to earth
and I feel like I can relate to you! I am obsessed with food, I LIVE to
eat. I feel like an addict! I’ve constantly struggled with the idea that I
have to chose between my love of delicious food and being slim and
slinky. Yesterday I had my first fasting day on the 5:2 diet and I am
extremely surprised how easy it actually was, I don’t think I’ve stayed
under 500 calories in 5 years… sure I had cravings, and they were
raging in the evening but I laughed at them and stayed strong. I’m
dedicated to giving this my best shot and knowing that you only have to
hold out till the morning makes ALL the difference. You get the benefits
of feeling in control of yourself , instead of feeling weak willed all the
time and feeling like you’re punishing yourself and all the guilt…… I
think psychologically this diet is so much healthier, more positive and
will be easier to follow in the long run!
February 4th, 2015 at 6:42 pm

So is peanut butter ok to eat?
February 5th, 2015 at 12:35 am
Peanut Butter is ok to eat, but it has to be good peanut butter meaning it
should be made of ONLY peanuts. Well, if it’s peanuts and salt that’s ok
too… but you can tell by reading the ingredients list. Or, you can buy
peanuts and grind into peanut butter at home which I think is not only
better for you, but it also tastes better 😉
February 5th, 2015 at 1:05 am
exactly how i feel, i just discovered how good oat meal was so thank for
the video! Good ideas!
February 5th, 2015 at 1:53 am
why is it important to eat oatmeal everyday? what are the benefits?
February 5th, 2015 at 2:00 am
Oatmeal has many health benefits! Aside from the awsome balance of
macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins and fats) it is rich in fiber and
antioxidants, helps lower cholesterol, and has a low glycemic value which
gives you a steady blood sugar level (excellent for people with diabetes)
