Exercise has and always will play an enormous part in any sort of weight loss plan. If you are looking to only shift several extra pounds that you have gained or even if you have been battling with the bulge for decades then a good exercise regime can assist you. If you are overweight you might be struggling at the mere thought of exercise. But the good news is you do not have to lift heavy weights or over do it for hours at a time, as some simple gentle exercises can do the trick.

If you are not used to doing regular exercise then begin small. Get up and go to get a walk around your neighbourhood. Take a slow stroll, inhale the fresh air and take in your surroundings. You’ll be surprised at that the little walk could make you feel more refreshed and energized when you make it home. Do this every day for a couple of weeks, and then you might feel ready to accelerate your pace using a bit of power walking as well as jogging.

Yoga can also be done as a gentle exercise for rapid weight loss. Beginners yoga doesn’t require too much physical activity, but instead focuses on stretching your body and your muscles.
