Is it possible to lose 50 pounds in 3 months? Maybe, but that also brings up the question of how sustainable that weight loss may be.

Generally, faster weight loss uses less sustainable habits. Slower, and less stressful weight loss habits are usually easier to maintain and thus, produce more long term results.

That’s why it’s important to recognize what type of weight loss strategy is best for you. More drastic, and stressful methods are better if your results need to be more dramatic, but short term. If you want to lose the weight and keep it off, then start with simple habits that are easier to maintain and make adjustments are you go.
