freakin’ amazing! just wish there was a better way to estimate BF % without
the golden standard of hydrostatic and/or DEXA since most people can’t get
to it. but meh calipers better than none right?

So much info on weight loss but nearly half of that on gaining period.
Everyone says to stay as lean as possible but even gaining 2lbs/month it’s
very difficult to keep the weights increasing. Thoughts? Should I just
accept it taking more than a year just to add 15% to lifts, or is
‘accelerated gaining’ (3-4lbs/month gain) ever show to be a better choice
for supporting gains in the long-term.

Weightprogression is slowing down over time so to think in terms of
percents/year is not really helpful. And it really depends on where you are
at in your strengthcareer. Putting on an extra 10% on a lift when you are
already, say, squatting 600 is quite different to putting on 200% when you
are squattig 135.

Eric, how important would you guys say it is to hit your macros on the dot?
I just hit my protein goal, my fat goal, and then just hit my calories and
it has worked very well thus far. Just how important is being extremely
accurate (like I know your clients are)?

My diet seems fucked up but effective. I’m currently at 322 pro 202 carb
and 64 fat. I know people will say my protein is way too John as it is
double my weight! However I can’t drop it as I will drop weight too quick,
currently being at around 12%. But my carbs have come down from 300 as I
get drier the lower I go. So shall I just keep dropping carbs and keeping
protein this high?

dafuq? Weightprogression as in “putting more weight on the bar” … I wasnt
talking about weightloss as in bodyweight. I simply am of the opinion that
thinking of weightprogression ( putting more weight on the bar ) in terms
of percent/year is setting up for dissapointment.

my tdee is 2500cals a day im looking to cut 10lb/15lb im at a 500cal
surplus should i cut cals slowly r jump straight in & cut to a 500cal
