Weight Training Equipment For Your Home Gym

Lose Fats No Comments »

Sometimes the world of weight training equipment can seem a little overwhelming. Especially to the first time buyer, or the person just wading into weight training, it can be hard to distinguish one machine from another. What do I need? What don’t I need? How can I avoid being ripped off? These are just some of the questions that are frequently heard at the stores and by customer service representatives.

So with that in mind, we have compiled a list of the absolute best and most essential weight training equipment out there. It was not easy, but it has all been whittled down to the best and the brightest pieces of equipment, all for you.

The first piece of equipment that anyone needs is a weight bench. A home gym without a weight bench is missing something essential. The choices here are to either go with a flat or an inclined bench. This will depend upon what type of a lifter you are and expect to be. The more serious weight lifters tend to prefer flat benches. Also remember that this item is a lot safer to use than just lying on the floor or using a kitchen chair. Don’t rig up a literally homemade home gym. Do it right from the start.

The next piece to add is the weight training equipment which most people buy first. These are the actual weights. It is suggested that one gets a mix of various sized dumbbells as well as a weight bar with various different weights. This will allow for a mix of bicep curls and out arm strength training, as well as pectoral lifting and work that generally focuses closer to the torso.

One may also want to invest in some kettle balls. These are heavy weights which are cast in the shape of a cannonball. They have a handle on top, which is how they are held. They may appear intimidating but they are used by almost as many women as they are by men. The fact is that they come in all different sizes, weights, and even colors. The kettle ball was originally developed in Russia, which probably only adds to its air of intimidation. Nevertheless, ever since these became popular in the United States, they have had a strong backing community of people preaching their usefulness.

These three items are great ways to get started with you home gym. Of course, they focus on those who would prefer to build their gyms in a “freer” style. This means that the different weight training equipment is bought separately and is not all part of the same package, or even attached to each other.

For those who would prefer a simpler all-at-once approach to their weight training equipment, well you can buy an all-in-one machine. Prices of such home gyms have come down significantly over the past decade and a half, so they are no longer just luxury items. It may not be as hardcore as assembling all the pieces yourself, but it is a very valid starting block for your home weight training equipment, and to your own home weight training program.

There’s a wide variety of weight training equipment out there and it can be difficult to figure out what’s right for you and your level of fitness. Get up to scratch on what to look out for when buying machines and weights, learn about the options and requirements for different exercise routines and know what look out for when buying weight training equipment for a home gym.

Exercises to Lose Weight? – Quick Helpful Weight Loss Tips

weight loss exercises No Comments »

What are the best exercises for weight loss? It depends on your goal. Getting rid of the extra pounds, and becoming toned and trim, is the focus of an entire multi-billion dollar weight loss industry. There are diets, fad diets, supplements and more, but the real key to weight loss is exercising more and eating less. Of the two, exercises to lose weight are in many ways the most effective, because the way weight loss works is by burning more calories than you consume.

You can either reduce the calories you consume, or increase the rate you burn them at, or do both. Let’s compare those – reducing caloric intake is the essence of a diet. In order to create a weight loss, you eat less. If you’re careful about this, it won’t feel like privation (cooking at home more often, eating off of smaller plates, and being aware of how many calories are in a given serving size of dish can go a long way towards caloric restriction.)

Exercises to lose weight involve making a commitment of time. You have to do some exercises every day, or increase your level of physical activity on a constant basis – it takes about twenty to thirty minutes per day to get the benefits of this, but it doesn’t take a gut busting, chest heaving aerobic workout to make it happen. Simply walking four miles for most people will do it, and that can be arranged by parking farther away from the store and walking more.

Of course if you do want to go into organized exercise for weight loss, the best exercises to lose weight involve varying your routine. Doing resistance training and core body strength workouts three days a week and alternating with some aerobic activity on the other days gets you the best of both worlds.

Resistance and core body strength training causes your metabolism to accelerate, helping you build up muscle mass; weight lifting basically damages the muscle fibers, which get repaired stronger by the body – you need to give your body about 24 hours off after the weight lifting to get the benefits, but that doesn’t mean you don’t exercise; you switch to working on a treadmill or stationary bicycle to keep your heart rate up and burn off more calories.

For actually losing weight (as opposed to losing fat), working out aerobically is the most time efficient. For losing fat, and for building up muscle to replace it, you want to do resistance training. The best exercises to lose weight combine both approaches, and they have one other secret.

It’s called sports. Exercising to improve your performance at a specific sport – or just taking up a sport – gives you a reason to exercise – you enjoy it. If you only commit to exercises to lose weight, your weight loss program will grind to a halt when you get bored with the exercise in question. You need to find exercises, or patterns of exercises, that you’ll enjoy doing. One of the best resources for exercises that will help you lose weight is a book called Fat Loss For Idiots, which has plenty of fun exercise and diet tips to help you build a personalized, and effective, weight loss program.

If you’re looking to achieve the same success with fat and weight loss that lots of others have seen, Fat Loss 4 Idiots is the single most valuable quick fat loss diet tool for this purpose.

Attention – Massive Fasting Weight Lost on Intermittent Fasting Program!

Lose Fats No Comments »

The combined intermittent fasting weight lost over the centuries far outstrips all other forms of diet combined! Can this be true? You bet it can! Not to mention that the weight lost on a proper fasting diet is just the icing on the cake of the most enjoyable and effective diet on the planet.

Intermittent fasting for weight loss has been around as long a man…and way beyond all other modern formal and complicated diets came into being.

You see, until the 20th century, people practiced intermittent fasting all their lives. Why? Because they had to hunt for their food. Food was not always readily available like it is today. In early times, the hunters would catch their food, everyone would eat well for a while, then the hunters would go out and catch some more. Until they brought home more food they would live off the fat on their bodies (while they fasted) as they waited for more food. Of course they were slimmer and healthier than our overfed overweight society is today.

I believe that our natural biology was not designed to have food consistently; therefore intermittent fasting is a very natural and healthy way to diet.

However, many people believe that fasting is a bad way to try to lose weight. Why is this? Because long-term fasting simply is not a good weight-loss approach…but we are not talking about long-term fasting. We are talking about the fasting weight lost by intermittent short-term fasting.

Long-term fasting is not sustainable over a lifetime, is very hard to endure, and will slow down your metabolism, causing you to gain your weight back (usually plus some) when you start eating again. Short-term intermittent fasting, done properly, has none of these negative characteristics.

Fasting properly will not only keep your metabolism up for efficient fat burning, but it will help your body to cleanse itself of toxins.

What happens is that you fast for a short period, which causes a huge calorie deficit, and then you eat what you enjoy for a period of days. Doing this will cause you to burn more calories than you take in, thus you will lose weight while enjoying all your favorite foods.

The fasting weight lost on a proper fasting diet is the icing on the cake of the most pleasurable and affective diet on the planet. This system can be enjoyed and sustained for life without becoming bored with it.

Combine intermittent fasting with a good exercise program and you have the perfect, weight loss system. But it must be done correctly, which actually is very simple to do. If done correctly you will have no trouble maintaining your exercise regime.

Once you learn more about intermittent fasting and weight loss, you will be amazed at how easily, inexpensively, and pleasurably they work together.
